Costimate: $304/wk

WELCOME to Kravenmore Kids Family Childcare.

The children refer to me as Miss Kerri and this is the ninth year I've operated Kravenmore Kids. I'm blessed to have some truly incredible and very qualified assistants and some terrific families. I am licensed by the state of Massachusetts for ten children. I am a happily married mother of two grown children.

SETTING: This separate dedicated space in my home was purpose built for childcare by my husband. The floors are heated, the furniture is custom built and the space is large bright and welcoming. There are separate napping rooms for infants and the toddlers. There is an acre of property to play on. Our home sits atop a hill with sunshine abound for outside play, yet has a shaded play area to shelter the children from the summer sun.

PRESCHOOL: We provide preschool for our three + year old children in our lovely sun room; located directly above the daycare. This is a wonderful convenience for our parents because they don't have to make special arrangements to transport children between childcare and preschool. The children experience consistent, high quality, instruction throughout their day. The preschool component varies with enrollment.

CURRICULUM: The emphasis of the curriculum at Kravenmore Kids is the intertwining of age-appropriate stimulation with fun filled activities. The joy of learning, cultivation of imagination, and respect for one's self and others are the ultimate goals. Manners and sharing are emphasized as we introduce structure to their day through lots of creative play. Life lessons like taking turns and helping each other teaches respect and patience for one another.

CONVENIENCES: Healthy, homemade meals and nutritious snacks are provided and we have wonderful fun growing our own vegetables in our garden seasonally. It's just amazing what a child will eat if they grow it themselves! Train service is within walking distance.

You are welcome to speak with some current and former parents or schedule a visit to see what we have to offer at Kravenmore Kids.

Good luck with your childcare search,

Kerri

Next Generation Children's Centers - Beverly

232 Essex St., Beverly, MA

Next Generation Children's Centers - Beverly is much more than just daycare. We offer infant, toddler, preschool and child care programs with a curriculum that prepares children to thrive in their next stage of development, including kindergarten readiness.

Our small group environments in each classroom enable teachers to tailor the learning to each child's skill level and provide them individualized attention so they're prepared for their next milestone. We do this through a Primary Care Group approach where each teacher works with small groups of children at a time, so no child is ever without a teacher to guide them.

Our approach to learning is play-based because we know children learn better while they're having fun, engaged and interested. We give them plenty of time throughout each day to play, explore, and enjoy physical activities.

Our school management team, teachers and other staff have early childhood care and development experience, and they really enjoy teaching and nurturing the children in our care!

We also focus on developing and nurturing important character traits and social skills through our age-appropriate "Kind Child" approach.

Families are a very important part of our school and we encourage a strong parent-teacher-child connection. We do this through many classroom activities and events designed specifically for parents and children to participate together.

Open and ongoing communication with our families is important, and the most effective way we do this with parents is face-to-face whenever they drop-off their children in the morning or pick them up in the afternoon. We have an open-door policy, so you're welcomed to come in or call to chat about whatever is on your mind at any time.

We're very picky about our menu choices, so children receive a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks every day that are included in tuition.

We provide parents peace of mind by giving children an exceptional education every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home!

Please contact us to schedule a visit, meet our caring and nurturing team, and see for yourself how our school is a very special place for your child to learn and grow.

Kids In The House Child Care

22 Hobart Avenue, Beverly, MA

Costimate: $304/wk

My name is Candy Grein. I am the proud owner of Kids In The House Child Care in Beverly. MA. My Child care program is licensed by the state of Massachusetts.
I have 9 years of experience as a preschool teacher and 8 years of experience as a Preschool Director. I have taught expressive art and craft classes to children ages 4 - 12 years of age. I am certified and trained by the Red Cross in CPR and first aid. I have taken several basic sign language courses and incorporate simple signs into your child's daily learning.

MY HOME:

My home is located in Beverly at the end of a quiet street and is a little over 5 years old. The lower level has been completely remodeled specifically for child care. The space is bright, cheerful and welcoming. Parents and children have a separate entrance into the childcare. While the childcare is located in my home it is separate from the hustle and bustle that goes on during the day in my home. I do have a dog (Lenny) and several cats, while they are all very friendly they are not allowed into the childcare space. My home is air conditioned in the summer months.

MY PHILOSOPHY:

It is my belief that a loving home child care can offer each child a chance to learn and develop physically, emotionally and intellectually. In order for children to grow and blossom in these areas they must be provided an educationally stimulating, nurturing and safe environment where they can become aware of the world around them through hands on activities and play. Play is your child's practice. I have areas for music, science, art, dramatic play, discovery and building. There's a Book Nook with board books, beginner reading books and picture books. Introducing children to social concepts such as respect, pride, self esteem, and a love of learning is to me equally as important as introducing number/math skills, letter awareness and science concepts.

At Kids In The House I value the process of art not product. Children are encouraged to do art for the exploration, the experience and the experimentation. In the "process" of doing art, children discover creativity, mystery, joy, and frustration, which are all important pieces in the puzzle of learning
