Feel comfortable leaving your children with professionals who will make sure that your children are well cared for. Every day of the week, professional staff provides homework assistance, a snack and a safe environment for children to explore and play. After homework, children can play indoor or outdoor games while fully supervised. We also offer bus transportation for this program. Wee People Playschool is a recreational program for children ages 3 years old - 5 years old. Being a parent gave me lots of opportunities experiencing working with different children. I was a Brownie leader, assistant coach to different sports teams. Room Mom, helped at Lincoln Alt. School Spirit Shop and Volunteered in the nursery at my church for 5 yrs. as well as helping with many children events. As you can see, I love kids and I have a lot of energy! I have been doing my daycare/preschool for 20 yrs. I am licensed and CPR trained. Currently, I am doing mostly preschoolers. When they finish my program and want to go to Garretson around the corner which has a wonderful program for your child to learn Spanish, plus the Gate program, they are able to stay in my care. My motto for the preschool is God Country ABC's & 123's. We start the day with good morning hugs and creative play. Then we have breakfast and we say prayers, followed by some more free time.Next we begin circle time. Yes we say the Pledge loud and proud! Learning everything that has to deal with a calendar. Afterwards a little snack and some exercising. Then we proceed with school work & arts and crafts. I love to read to the kids, I pray this will instill a love for reading and knowledge in them. We play a lot of board games so much for them to learn during this time: sitting still, taking turns, never quitting something you start and to be a good winner or loser. They take a nap, each have their own bed and LOVE how I tuck them in. When we get up, we have another snack and say a Bible verse. We do many more things. The kids are ready for kinder when they finish my program. Currently, my preschoolers can spell their full names, all the numbers 1-10, & their colors! They color beautifully with no white spots and their printing is amazing I must say. They will finish with cap & gown photos and Bible verses in their hearts and are beginning to read to lead them on their way. In closing, I would like to say Thank you for considering me. I realize it is a very difficult decision to decide where / who to leave your precious ones with. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you and your child.
