Hello, I have been a nanny for over 20 years and have wonderful references. I have cared for children aged from newborn to teens. I have experience with multiples (twins, etc.), some developmental delays, autism, asthma (breathing machines), feeding through a g button, etc. I have also potty trained many children. I always try to work with parents and use the same methods for potty training, behavior or anything else that may come up, in my home that they use at theirs. I also try to accommodate the families napping and feeding schedules. I have 3 children of my own, ages 17, 16 and 11. They all attend school full-time. My oldest will be headed off to college this fall. We are a Christian family. We do not smoke or drink in or outside our home. I have been a share care (small group) nanny in my home for 15 years. I did take the last few years off and tried something else. I miss having my babies so I am getting back to what I truly love the most. Caring for little ones. My family recently bought a home in Atascocita Shores where I am in the process of setting up a wonderful playroom. I would like to find 2 maybe 3 infants maximum to do share care in my home. We will enjoy taking walks. Age and stage appropriate play, reading, singing etc. I have (and will keep picking up) many developmental toys and will help your child learn in a loving home environment. When they are old enough we will also enjoy doing art projects, baking on occasion, reading, singing, dancing, practicing ABC's and 123's, writing, math, outings to the zoo and museums etc. We have (and will get more as we get to this stage) many fun and educational toys, and soon we will love to just have fun and be silly. Our home is the best of daycare/preschool with other children to socialize with, learning, projects and occasional outings, but without too many kids and illnesses. It is also like being at home with mom, with the personal relationships, one on one time, and an all around loving home environment. Once the kiddos are old enough I will provide healthy food, milk, juice and snacks, and all the art supplies. My hours are very flexible and I can accommodate most schedules. My prices are also a little flexible. Another perk of a small Home environment! FYI we do have pets. Dogs and a Parakeet. Our little dog is not crazy about adults strangers, but they all LOVE children! If you have any questions or would like to come by and meet us let me know. I look forward to working with you.
