1116 Kains Ave, Albany, CA

Costimate: $377/wk

Kita on Kains is a new licensed German bilingual daycare located in a small intimate home setting with a grass lawn backyard play area. I offer a warm and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschoolers in my sunny, safe home located on the Berkeley/Albany border (near Marin Ave) with a low teacher-child ratio. Our home is smoke free and cleaned only with eco-friendly products.

I provide an age appropriate, fun-filled, play-based program with a curriculum that is tailored to meet each child's individual needs. My small group setting will allow for special attention and care to the needs of each child. We will have a daily schedule that includes indoor and outdoor free play activities and also will include guided activities, like circle time, dance, music, story time, art and dramatic play with an emphasis on German language. Healthy organic snacks will be provided.

I am a licensed, CPR/First Aid certified daycare provider with 13+ years of childcare/teaching experience. I studied dance and education in Germany and studied Early Childhood Education at Merritt College. Since immigrating to the US in 2002, I have worked in several preschools, dance and German language schools in the Bay Area, including Shan Yee Poon Ballet School, the Bay Area Kinderstube and the German School of San Francisco.
