Soana and her family are simply the best! My baby girl started at Soana's when she was 1 year old and only left because we moved out of the area when she was almost 2.5 years old.
She loved Soana's! She would get so excited in the car ride there, jump out of my arms to her when we arrived and then not want to leave at the end of the day.
The peace of mind that both my husband and I had during our work day was the best. We knew that she was happy, well taken care of the well feed all day.
I highly recommend Soana to anyone with an infant or toddler in the area.

G started with Soana at four months and has been there for just over a year now. She is warm and nurturing, and it feels like she has welcomed our son as a part of her extended family. My husband and I were specifically looking for a childcare option that did not have a corporate, cookie-cutter feel that some centers do, and we have been very satisfied with Soana's environment and engagement with our son.

Over the last several months, G has advanced so much in his language and play skills, and I know that can be attributed to Soana's work with him and the structured interaction he has with the other kiddos. He's happy to leave me each morning and so excited to see Soana and her family. He's even picked up a few words in her home language!

My son went to Soana Lauti's Daycare from 8 months old to almost 5 years old. It was so wonderful to take my child every morning to a place he loved where he was safe, cared for, and inspired to learn. For me, peace of mind is the single most important criteria in choosing a daycare. I had that in spades at Soana's Daycare.

We looked at a variety of daycares and were so lucky to get a personal referral for Soana. Beyond the amazing care at bargain prices, we loved the flexibility and enrichment Soana provided. Regarding flexibility, she has a long window of available hours and would welcome our daughter (four years older) when there was no school for her. Our daughter always gave us a glowing "report" that her little brother was well-cared for.

Regarding enrichment, Soana taught him so much about enjoying life and being a good person. When we walk around our neighborhood, my son tells me to "stop and smell the flowers", a habit he learned from Soana. He notes when different fruits are in season, because Soana would pick fruit from her yard with him. He knew his letters and numbers very early on, making him more than ready for kindergarten. When he got older, the art he would do with the art teacher (Eta) was tactile, creative, and engaging - with holiday-specific art that we continue to cherish. On special occasions they would organize field trips to parks, Alameda beach, and beyond.

Soana gave our son healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks each day. Mangoes are our son's favorite fruit because Soana introduced him to them. He also begs for purple sweet potatoes because he had them there.

Probably our favorite thing about Soana's Daycare was that we were treated like family. Because of Soana serving as a role model for caring for her "extended family", our son loves cuddling babies and helping younger children. Simultaneously, he feels comfortable and confident with "the older kids" that would come to Soana's Daycare for after school care. All of the kids at the daycare were encouraged to look out for each other and amazingly they did! After hours, Soana invited us to join their family at events such as musicals and sports games. Soana modelled an active and vibrant life for our son. Since we moved, Soana sends holiday cards and video calls regularly, just to say "hi".

I honestly could go on and on about all the ways Soana's Daycare is phenomenal. We were so sad when we "graduated", but so thankful when Soana kept in touch.
