We are excited to announce our large family child care program, enrolling toddlers and preschool ages (www.diamondlittlepeople.com)! We have been honored to open a program, offering a new place for your child to experience a fun, safe, and inspirational environment!
Children thrive by learning through play because, for them, it IS very serious business. Our team loves working with children, have much experience, and a passion to teach them the tools they'll need in the world around us. Our goal is to provide a place of joy, consistency, freedom, creativity, and most of all, love! From circle times to exercising motor skills; to crafts, paint, music, and sounds; to imaginary play and reading; from field trips and nature hikes; to nap times and potty training; your little one will enjoy every day as an adventure, full of learning and fun!
For our preschool age group (3 yrs+), starting this fall, in addition to our own curriculum, we will be attending the Merritt Lab Preschool program every Tuesday and Thursday morning for families who'd like to enroll their child. Transportation is provided by our team. This is an amazing program that we strive to continuously imitate. We currently have full-time and part-time availability and would like to invite your family to consider our program for ages 1yr-5yrs old! Please contact us to view our location. We are located in the upper Dimond neighborhood, two blocks from Dimond Park and just one block from the Dimond library - perfect for outings for the little ones! Tuition comes down to less than $9/hr for your full day space! This includes a great curriculum, incredible and experienced team, and all organic food provided by us (breakfast, lunch, and two snacks in between meals). We enjoy plenty of outdoor activities and excursions throughout the month and believe this is essential to their development. The caregivers at DLPA are always happy to see my child when she arrives. They are loving, artistic, organized, fun and silly. I'm constantly impressed with their dedication to providing exceptional care and educational opportunities for the children.

We've bee with this day care for a few years now and I can't recommend them more highly! The two owners and operators are the epitome of professionalism and the way they care for, interact with, and inspire our young daughter is not only inspiring--it's a relief. We feel grateful we have such a place and people, taking watching our daughter.
