We are looking for a responsible Personal Assistant/House Manager to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the family's working life. Responsibilities will include laundry, meal preparation, errands, grocery shopping, housekeeping, pet care and child care. You will be responsible for administrative items and projects related to the managers businesses and must be proficient in excel and have previous administrative experience. The family is looking to hire 2-3 part time assistants to allow for flexibility and time off. We are looking for long term team members as this is not a seasonal position. The ideal assistant has own transportation, a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.

About who needs care: My mom lives in a senior living facility and I'm interested in having two 12 hour shift to be with her 7 days each week - ideally 9 a.m. through 9 p.m. and 9pm-9 a.m. The day shift will assist her in staying hydrated - reminding her to drink sips of water at a minimum of every 30 minutes. My mom is still very mobile but she could use assistance with organizing her days - prompting her to get showered and dressed. She loves arts and crafts as well as caring for plants.. Her mesls are prepared by the facility - my should be encouraged to go to the dinningroom to retrieve her meals at the appropriate time. The night shift will primarily serve to make my mom feel safe and secure in her apartment and also to make sure she's safe when she gets up during the night for the toilet. About the care needs: The caregiver should be friendly and have patience. Their hobbies should include gardening and painting. My mom is a retired nurse so it would be nice if the caregiver could wear colorful scrubs in order to "look professional/official." The caregiver should not engage in conversations with my mom about any type of conspiracy theories. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
