Looking for reoccurring help, maybe 20hrs a week, with pick-ups/drop-offs and light homework. This would be 3-4 hours (max), M-Thr, and happy available to start this summer (6/26)! Senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Transportation. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. I do not live near my father and he can't drive. He has some recurring doctor's appointments coming up for some skin cancer treatment, and could ideally use a reliable compassionate driver to take him to and pick him up from his appointments (may be drop off/pick up due to length of procedure) and possibly stop on the way home to get him some food or drop off prescriptions, etc. He is friendly and aware of what is going on, just needs help getting to and from places. The treatment plan is evolving so appointment dates aren't established yet but there will likely be several. Dates and times are just a placeholder until future appointments are scheduled.

Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Companionship. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction and small tasks like helping him grab this or that, move from chair to bed, if possible, go out to lunch (we cover lunch and gas and am looking for a wheelchair accessible van). He is now wheelchair-bound with Parkinson's and slight Parkinson's related dementia, without one-on-one attention he can't really do much, including moving around, and I would like him to have companion care, so he doesn't feel trapped in place if caregivers are busy.
