This is a mini business of 2 friends who love kids and making their day awesome with babysitters. That's where we got our slogan "2 for 1 and Twice the fun!". We both have very little children in our family that we take care of one being my nephew in the photo above but we also want to extend that to help other families who need the help. It could be for a busy day or date night. We are both still high school students so some times of day aren't available but after it's totally open for anyone.

I am a mother of a 2 year old boy and a stepmother to a 6 year old girl. I have always enjoyed helping and caring for people of all ages (3 years of experience as a CNA). After struggling to find a daycare or in-home care provider that I felt comfortable with, I decided to take that passion and put it towards building a care group for infant/toddlers that will focus on their growth and development, all while having fun and being creative. Not only do I want to work with children but I also hope to work around a working Mom's and Dad's schedules and budgets. Having said this, in December 2013 I decided to utilize my experiences of caring for people and start my own in home care group. I provide full-time (4-5 days) or part-time (2-3 days) positions within my home which is currently on the North Side of Madison (Barby Lane). Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I am Infant, Child and Adult CPR certified and have skilled training in SIDS and SBS. I have also put together a handbook that will be given to each family, filled with information and guidelines of the care that will be provided. Needless to say, I am excited to redirect my passion of caring for others to infants and toddlers, and I look forward to hearing from those in need of my services. If interested, please email me at mrshlyoung@gmail.com or call me at (608) 609-4324 to discuss things in more detail or even schedule a time to meet!

Olson Family Child Care provides high quality care for young children in a small group setting with a home-like environment. Our small group size allows children to receive one-on-one attention and still lets us experience all of the learning that comes with being part of a group - most days our group is just 4 friends. Ms. Sarah is an Early Childhood Teacher and mother with teaching experience in Early Childhood, 4K, and Kindergarten and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has designed an environment and program that blends family style care and appropriate and engaging learning experiences for young children. Our program uses a thematic curriculum to drive our focus and activities. Each day, we spend time learning, reading, talking, and singing about topics related to our theme. Learning activities are varied to support children in all areas of development. "Project Time" is one of our favorite parts of the day! Children have daily opportunities for group activities as well as outdoor play, child's choice indoor play, singing, reading, interacting with other children, and more! Rates vary depending on your family's scheduling needs and how many days/hours of care you require. Please inquire for specific rates based on your schedule. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi there, After finding out how difficult it is to find good/affordable care for our newborn daughter, I've left my job to stay home with our little one and operate an in-home daycare on the West side of Madison. I'm looking to fill 2 full-time care openings for infants (under 6 months old). My hope is that I'll find other parents that are like us, who want the best care, would prefer an intimate in-home situation with someone they can trust and would like their child to have friends to grow up/develop with. We are completely clean and child-safe, we have all new toys/nursery furniture and will be providing video monitoring that allows you to check in on your little one during the day via a smartphone app. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and have previous work experience of care giving for developmentally challenged adults as well as the experience of being a new mom. I teach educational programs such as baby sign language and Spanish. If you feel like this would be a good fit for your family, please contact me to learn more. I'd be happy to set up an interview to meet you and discuss our care and any questions you may have. Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you for considering me as your next childcare provider! :) My name is Julia & I am a stay at home mom of 5. I live in the Arbor Hills neighborhood which makes my home very quick and easy to get to from the Beltline, & your morning commute to daycare very simple. I also am within a few blocks from Leopold Elementary for a easy walk to and from school if needed. I have been doing childcare in some way, shape, or form since I was probably about 10 yrs old helping watch over my younger siblings. I also used to change cloth diapers and warm bottles and feed my little sister. This led to babysitting neighbor kids when I was in High School, & then as an adult, I began watching my friends' children on occasion here and there. The spring of 2013 I had an opportunity to stay home with my family finally after so many years that I couldn't pass it up. To keep me occupied while the my own children were in school I decided to do some babysitting, which then turned into me doing childcare in my home more professionally. Since 2013 I have been watching children in my home ranging in ages of 6 weeks on up. I currently have some really great families that allow me to do this for them & I am honored, & after talking with a few other childcare providers in my area I decided to join here to meet some more families and see if I was able to help a few others in mentoring their children. I do have references if requested that I am able to provide. And I do offer the following: >Family Friendly >Smoke Free >Stay at Home Mom >Play Based Learning >Flexible Schedule to fit your needs to include nights and occasional weekends >Reasonable Industry Standard Rates >Experienced with potty training >Able to abide by specific dietary needs (we are a gluten free household due to celiac) >Familiar with storing and using breast milk Immediate openings for all age groups. Would specifically be interested in newborns. I am familiar with standard precautions regarding keeping changing and eating areas as clean as possible. >Available for long/short term cares, part/full-time as well as drop ins as needed. >I supply portable cribs & bedding if you are unable to >I supply baby wipes, powder, A&D >I supply meals & snacks - infant formula and food would not be supplied by me Easy access from the Beltline at Todd Dr.

My husband and I are both alumni of UW-Madison and have been married for 2 years. He is currently in Medical School and I'm staying at home with our 18 month old and 2 month old! At this point, we have a few requests for part-time care and will probably not be looking for others at this time. Thank you! We're located just off of Rennenbohm Park and have a large outdoor patio filled with goodies: cars, chalk, kiddie pool, bubbles and more! Whether it's summer or winter, I encourage physical activity and will be sure to get some sort of gross motor skills in every day. Two healthy snacks and a lunch would be provided, though formula, diapers and/or other dietary specialties would not. I wouldn't allow more than a half hour of tv each day and would otherwise focus on educational activities depending on age. (Puzzles, Coloring, Numbers, Playdoh, Crafts, Writing, Pretend, Music, etc.) I read to my little one each day and plan to continue to do this as a group. Nap schedules are based off of the book "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby." We are a smoke-free family and have no pets.
