Abba's Little Ones promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment, actively opposing intolerance, bias, and discrimination. Every child from every background, ability, and experience belongs in our welcoming and supportive circle. We provide 2 healthy meals, and 2 snacks daily, teach a faith-based curriculum, have daily outside play, daily reading to, monthly themes and field trips, to include foundational teachings of shapes, colors, letters, numbers, sign language, attributes of God & Fruits of the spirit. At Abba's Little Ones we take a different approach than mainstream, but this is one reason why we are different. We take a "gentle parenting" type of approach. My name is Celeste. I am a mama to one wonderful munchkin who changed my whole world and view on childcare. I have always had a deep love for children and motherhood has only deepened that. I thrive in environments where I can teach young ones. Not only that but we are a faith based program. So I love the fact that I can pour into our children and SHOW them the love of Christ while helping them develop and flourish under my nurturing care. Motherhood has made me aware that there is a large lack of quality childcare and, well.....I'm just not ok with that. I believe in accountability, building trust with my families and children, and creating lasting relationships. Taking care of another human being for 75% of their awake time is a HUGE responsibility and honor and I do not take that lightly. It really can take a village, and I want to thank you for your consideration in trusting me to be a part of yours. Serving the general area of SW Charlotte, Lake Wylie, Gastonia, Belmont, Rock Hill, Clover, York, and Fort Mill. Hello, my name is Shannon. I have about 15 years of childcare experience! I also have two kiddos of my own. They're "tweens" now, but they're great kids. Currently, I keep a few babies and after-school kids in my Clover, SC home. I am looking to fill two full-time spots and have some flexibility for part-time as well. In my home, I supply everything for your child except diapers, wipes and formula. I have reasonable rates charging by the week or by the day. All payments are due by Friday week of care. We can setup bi-weekly or monthly payment arrangements in advance, if that works better with your pay schedule. Education is very important to me. I continue to take training and educational courses to help me be the best caregiver I can be. I will be CPR & First Aid Certified on March 12, 2016. I pay taxes on my income, which is a huge benefit to you. In early January you will receive a receipt of care as well as my social security number to use every penny you pay me as a deduction on your taxes. This can amount to a huge savings every year. My home is clean, child friendly, and fun! We keep busy during the day. I am very organized so the children stay on a schedule and have circle time as well as "school time." School time for my 3-4 year olds consist of working on letters, numbers, recognizing and writing their names. My 1-2 year olds have a similar time devoted to working on colors, shapes, and animals. The 3-4 year olds are present during this session as a daily review. My infants do a lot of interactive play, get plenty of tummy time, enjoy the mountain of toys, and receive lots of cuddles. Our home is on the corner of two dead end roads, conveniently located near the intersection of highway 55 & highway 557. This location makes it easy for pickup and drop-off to and from work. We have a two-story playhouse with swing set, swirly slide, see saw, and lots of outdoor toys. We have sports equipment. We have a brand new trampoline with enclosure. We also have a huge deck where we like to work on crafts or play in the sand table. Inside we have lots of games, crafts, puzzles, books, toys and a ton of baby equipment. On wet or very cold days when we are not able to go outside, we like to have "dance parties" to our favorite kid appropriate songs. We also enjoy coloring, imagination play, board games, and even a movie from time to time. If you have any questions or would like a rate quote, please contact me through Care.com

I run an in home daycare for children of all ages. I have a beautiful three year old daughter that they can play with. I can have up to 5 children in my home. I prefer full time, but if you need me to watch for just a few hours every now and then, it will be only $5/hour. Depending on how many I am watching at a time and with parents permission, I would like to take the kids on learning and fun trips. (i.e. Plaza Fiesta and museums) I will not only let the children play, but I will help them learn and do crafts. I will give them the love and nurturing that they need and that is something that you cannot get out of any old daycare. I want the absolute best for your kids. Just the way I want the best for mine. As far as experience, I have a three year old of my own, I have always helped take care of my younger brother, and since I was younger I have babysat many younger family members and helped in the church nursery.

I care for children in my home from ages 6 weeks to 4 years. I have a seven month old of my own who is with me all day every day. I am limited on the number of children I can watch at one time so space is limited. I do have two openings at the current time.
