I'm looking for someone that enjoys playing and being active with kids. W is very social and loves imaginative play and other games. J loves to jump on the trampoline and throw rocks in the creek. I usually only need help with one at a time, but occasionally, if I have to run an errand, I'd need you to watch them both. About who needs care: My husband is a C4 quadriplegic. We are in need of a reliable caregiver/caregivers to be with him during the day and a few hours in the evenings, as I am still working full time. His caregiver would be responsible for preparing and feeding his meals, administering his medication and insulin, properly caring for his showering and bathroom needs, transferring him from his bed to his wheelchair using a Hoyer lift and helping with his light housekeeping. About the care needs: Brian is incredibly smart, witty and enjoyable to be around. Finding good, reliable care for him is been very difficult, so we are hoping to find the right fit here! This would be a great position for someone who has prior nursing/care-giving experience or someone interested in a nursing profession. Brian has an ostomy bag is also diabetic, which requires him to need insulin injections. While previous care-giving experience would be ideal, it is not required.
