Looking for respite! I have a 19-year-old son who is autistic and non-verbal. He is pretty low key, likes to sit on the back deck, lay on the trampoline, and watch shows using the TV or phone. He also likes to ride in the car!! His days are pretty full of learning and working on goals, so we are looking for someone to just be a companion in the evenings to meet his needs and keep him safe. No real demands. My husband and I will likely be home but doing our own thing and trying to stay out of your way! You would be helping with his dinner, timed toileting routine and just hanging out with him! You should know we have cats. This is a job paid by waiver funding at $18 an hour. You would be paid by UCP. Generally looking for help 5:30ish to 9:30ish. It does not have to be every night. We also have hours available Sat afternoons/evenings.
