Hello, I am a very experienced caregiver. I have worked caring for adults since 2005, and I have had my CNA since 2007. I also have graduated from nursing school with my LPN and will be NCLEX testing for that soon. I am very caring and compassionate and love what I do. I have many years experience with Special Needs, Dementia, and also rehabilitation care and am trained in Restorative Care.

I specialize in Alzheimer/dementia care but have experience in all geriatric care. After working in nursing homes the first 9 years, in 2000 I was offered a home position by a family in Shelbyville Ky. and have been fortunate enough to have stayed employed by word of mouth recommendations. I cared for my own grandmother through her battle with CHF as well as my husbands grandmother through her battle with Alzheimer's. I am flexible and can do any shift. I'm a great asset in providing quality, dignified care including meals, general cleaning, bathing, dressing, medications, ambulation and transferring, errands, and comfort and companionship.

I have previously worked in a hospital back in my home town. I was a nursing assistant for over two years. I assisted many ages with ambulation, bathing, daily living activities, obtaining vial signs, and any other requests from medical staff.
