I specialize in Alzheimer/dementia care but have experience in all geriatric care. After working in nursing homes the first 9 years, in 2000 I was offered a home position by a family in Shelbyville Ky. and have been fortunate enough to have stayed employed by word of mouth recommendations. I am respectful, educated, dependable, honest , healthy, and strong. I work well with family and hosparus, I never forget I am a guest in your home. I am happily married, very stable with no drama. I cared for my own grandmother through her battle with CHF as well as my husbands grandmother through her battle with Alzheimer's. I am flexible and can do any shift. I'm a great asset in providing quality, dignified care including meals, general cleaning, bathing, dressing, medications, ambulation and transferring, errands, and comfort and companionship.
