Retired Nurse

Responds within a few days
I am a retired nurse of 20 plus years. I do not wish to go back to hospital or nursing home setting and would rather work on a one on one basis. I believe in showing Client respect and dignity at all times and being compassionate to his or her needs. Listening is the key to being a great care giver as well. I am honest and dependable. I am CPR/first aid certified. I do have specific days I need off and will let you know well in advance. I am up at the crack of dawn and prefer mornings. I can do a myriad of jobs and am not afraid of housework, cooking, errands or getting my hands dirty. I do things in the evenings with my children, and Sundays I have church. Since my kids are teens and don't need me as much it's important for me to be able to do what I do best tend to others. If you have any questions I will answer in a timely fashion. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and have a beautiful day!

I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Rhonda and how she cared for our mother. Her experience as a nurse was invaluable. She was dependable and went out of her way to be as helpful as possible. Most importantly, she truly cared about our mother as if mom were her own mother. She prepared special dishes that she would bring to mom from her home and was kind and attentive. I'll never be able to adequately thank her for making the last couple of months of my mom's life as comfortable as they could be.

Experienced And Compassionate Senior Caregiver

I had the pleasure to care for an elderly 85 yr old lady which included bathing, memory loss, diabetes, permanent catheter, physical and occupational therapy, rehabilitation care, and transportation appointments. In addition, I have done some professional catering so I provide home cooked meals based on her dietary restrictions. I also cared for my grandma and great aunt and my mother is a geriatric nurse so I have enjoyed working with seniors all of my life as a volunteer.
