I have experience working with adults/seniors with intellectual and physical disabilities. My day to day included being in the homes of the clients, helping with dressing and preparing breakfast. I am also skilled in medication passing. I had about 6 clients that I had to give medication to, twice a day. I am skilled in giving medication properly and at the correct times. The training I was provided with is the same level of training that a skilled nurse is given in school. I have CPR training as well, as a license of a pharmacy technician in Kentucky. Everyday was different, but my favorite things we did were crafts and reading! I am very right brained and this shows in my passion for art. The stories that I hear from my elders are so fascinating to me, I could listen all day long. My passion is for helping others, and for creating lasting friendships.
