Hello, I have many years of experience with children and 4 years as a full time nanny for newborns. I love caring for children just as much as I love interacting with them, as they're so joyful and fun. A little about me: I'm a student online studying for my RN, I enjoy baking, great with animals, active with children, and very punctual. I have been CPR and First Aid Certified , although my certifications card expired last year I will be renewing it later this month. I look forward to hearing from you and I'm happy to answer any further questions! I also have an incredible list of references I'd love to provide as well as the reviews left on my profile from families I've worked with!

Where do I even begin!? Isabel is AMAZING! As a first time mom I was worried about finding great care for my son. She has put my worries to rest. She is reliable, flexible, dependable and does a phenomenal job caring for my son. She started when he was 2 months old and he is almost 7 months. We feel very fortunate to have someone as great as her. I don't worry when I leave home or have to constantly check my phone. She sends me pictures of different activities throughout the day which is so nice! She helps around the house with chores and leaves the place spotless. She helps take care of my dog too and takes her on walks sometimes. My son was born with cleft lip and palate and she has been by our side every step of the way. She will make a great nurse and she is the best nanny! I highly recommend her to any family because honestly she has become more like family than just a nanny. Thank you Isabel. -Emily

Former Montessori Teacher With 24+ Years Experience

(2)
After retiring from a rewarding 24 year teaching career as a Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten teacher, I went on a short hiatus to care for my sick parents from 2014-2016. I returned to the Seattle/Tacoma area in 2016, and I had the pleasure working as a part-time nanny for a family in Seattle with 2 children--both children are now in school full-time, therefore I'm now looking for a position with a new family. Although I spent the majority of my career in a Montessori classroom, I have a passion and interested in providing love and care for children in their home environment. Previous to my Montessori teaching, I raised 3 beautiful daughters who are happy, successful, college educated young women. I truly believe in the Montessori philosophy which encourages children to be peaceful, kind and caring.

When we were considering hiring Deborah to be our nanny for our children, one of her references made a comment that sealed the deal for us: "If you can find a way for Deborah to be involved with your children's lives, you would be very lucky." From that point onward, we have thanked our lucky stars for having found her. By hiring Deborah, we ended up having a loving caregiver, private teacher, and sometimes parent coach in one. She has not been content to pass the day distracting our kids. Instead, she has incredible energy and enthusiasm to make every moment a teaching moment, whether it be math and reading or social and emotional guidance. Our two kids have vastly different personalities, and she has been able to meet each child where they are at - always with clear boundaries and positive responses. On top of it all, she has treated us (the parents) with respect and care. It is an understatement to say that we highly recommend Deborah as a caregiver.
