Seeking care for my mother in her 60s. Services needed: companionship, meal preparation, medication prompting, help staying physically active, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, nursing experience, support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be pleasant, independent. My mom was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She is still independent, but is becoming more and more forgetful. She lives with her younger sister who is mentally challenged but is pretty independent and very very nice. I would love for my mom to have social interaction, and have someone come in if you times a week to make sure she is taking her medication, bathing etc. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, strong. I would love for my mom to have social interaction, and have someone come in if you times a week to make sure she is taking her medication, bathing etc. My mom has been independent her whole life and has been into exercise as well, however as she has gotten older and now with the recent diagnosis of Alzheimer's she doesn't get out much unless I am there. I would love for her to get daily exercise, anything from walks in the park to walks around the block. She is still independent but she's becoming more and more forgetful, and social interaction is very important to me for her to have.
