I met Janet M. in 2012 when she was hired as a caregiver for my Uncle. I immediately took to her, not only because she was friendly and easy to relate to, but because I saw the change in him. She was caring, and it was easy to see that he was happy to have her with him. They would often visit my late Mother (his sister) and I, and we'd spend many a pleasant afternoon together. My Mother grew very fond of her also. Janet's respectable, reliable, and shows a genuine interest in people. And even though she can be a little shy at times, it's obvious that she's a people-person and has the personality suitable for being a companion to the elderly. My Uncle's condition warranted him being admitted into a long-term care facility, or I'm sure she'd still be in his employ. I'll miss seeing her.
