Light Housekeeping And Bathing / Dressing Part-time Support Needed For My Friend In Dayton, OH.

Part Time $15 – 25/hr Starts 10/19 Dayton, OH
Seeking care for my loved one in her 60s. Services needed: bathing / dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my loved one: she can be pleasant, independent. My aunt and her roommate are typically independent. Unfortunately, my aunt has a muscle disease that causes weakness, her roommate Who usually helps her with household chores and meal prep broke her arm after falling. Since falling Kathleen needs assistance with bathing and both of them need help with keeping the house. Also, my aunt has been asked to have minimal weight bearing secondary to a tendinitis for the next 6 weeks. I'm looking for someone who is patient. My ideal caregiver would be helpful in the kitchen and with laundry while assisting occasionally with bathing. This may include more help in the future if Kathleen needs surgery for her arm. The schedule may change based on availability of the caretaker as long as all the basic needs are met. Both individuals are usually completely independent so it will be difficult for them to accept help, but at this point they will greatly appreciate the help once it is there. If the caretaker can help with meal planning and prep then my aunt should be able to cook it in the oven or instant pot. Laundry help is greatly appreciated. Shower help will also be appreciated for Kathleen. Both women are lovely people, very generous, and gracious. They are used to keeping an orderly house with a firm schedule but cannot keep up with the physicality of caring for themselves at this point.
