I provide a safe, nurturing, educational and most importantly FUN in-home childcare environment for infants and toddlers. I have been working in this profession for the past 15 years, both at a preschool facility and as a private nanny; however, I currently operate in my home. I love working with children to help create a basis for their future success in school and life. I am currently very flexible with my hours and schedule. Our program provides daily planned learning opportunities, which include art, music, reading and writing. We encourage children to develop large motor activities in a child designed backyard with opportunities to climb, swing, run and jump. Sandbox, riding toys and playhouses for dramatic play experiences for children to learn about themselves and others. Home cooked meals and snacks are provided. Our staff is CPR certified, have educational background in Child Development and most of all are attentive, trustworthy and genuinely enjoy children. We are opened from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We offer full or part-time childcare to help parents work schedules. Drop in care is available and evening care.

Owner/Lead Teacher
Miss Victoria s primary goal as the owner and Lead Teacher of Folsom Kids Academy, is to offer a child-centered preschool education. October of 2015 will mark Victoria's eleventh professional year of teaching. Throughout her ongoing education, she has also established a background in chemistry, molecular microbiology and health science. Miss Victoria is working towards her State of California s Master Teaching Credential in Early Childhood Development. As an early childhood professional, she understands that she is playing a major role in shaping lifelong educational experiences. Her values stem from believing that a child s academic growth should be observed on a daily basis, in an effort for each child to reach their fullest potential. Miss Victoria is strongly influenced by Bev Boss, one of the nation's foremost experts on preschool education, and also taught at the preschool that she attended as a child.

At Golden Day our purpose is to provide the highest quality of care possible. We do this by maintaining a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for all children. We believe strongly that each individual is unique and special. Respect for each child and parent is our highest priority. We also believe Golden Day is part of each child's extended family. We feel that parents are children's first and best teachers. Because of this we strive to be a strong support network for each family. We feel open communication between my home and yours is the key to having a successful relationship that each child can thrive in.

Our goals are to help each child grow socially. Young children need time with other children to learn how to share, be respectful of others, learn how to communicate ideas and thoughts, control impulses and so much more. Show children by modeling behavior how to be successful in understanding their emotions and how to act upon them. Give time and opportunities for children to work on their physical skills. We offer a variety of activities that enable them to try out their large and small muscles. Challenge children mentally. We believe it is important to support children in obtaining the skills needed in developing young minds. This is done through age appropriate materials that require abstract thinking. Encourage children and to ensure that they have a wonderful day of new and exciting discoveries.


We offer full time child care as well as half day preschool classes. We hope your child will join in on the fun and learning at Golden Day.

I am a licensed child care home provider who works with children from ages two weeks old to twelve years old. I am licensed by the state of California. When children are in my care they will be in training and they will follow schedule throughout their day. Learning how to be kind to each other to learning and pretend play. Each child will be given an opportunity to win free toys at the end of each week based on their performance while in my care. We are now accepting enrollment for the transitional voluntary kindergarten program to which falls under the Rancho Cordova school curriculum. I strongly believe that every child has the ability to succeed and I am looking forward to be a part of their life. They are the future so we all need to handle them with care.
