Our Philosophy
At Golden Day our purpose is to provide the highest quality of care possible. We do this by maintaining a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for all children. We believe strongly that each individual is unique and special. Respect for each child and parent is our highest priority. We also believe Golden Day is part of each child's extended family. We feel that parents are children's first and best teachers. Because of this we strive to be a strong support network for each family. We feel open communication between my home and yours is the key to having a successful relationship that each child can thrive in.
Our goals are to help each child grow socially. Young children need time with other children to learn how to share, be respectful of others, learn how to communicate ideas and thoughts, control impulses and so much more. Show children by modeling behavior how to be successful in understanding their emotions and how to act upon them. Give time and opportunities for children to work on their physical skills. We offer a variety of activities that enable them to try out their large and small muscles. Challenge children mentally. We believe it is important to support children in obtaining the skills needed in developing young minds. This is done through age appropriate materials that require abstract thinking. Encourage children and to ensure that they have a wonderful day of new and exciting discoveries.
We offer full time child care as well as half day preschool classes. We hope your child will join in on the fun and learning at Golden Day.
