Weekly Schedule Each week combines traditional camp activities with specialized Lando classes. Campers attend two Lando sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (each class offered twice weekly), with Wednesdays reserved for exciting field trips. Explore the world of making your own clay creations! This class will teach you how to create several hand-built clay pieces. Students will be introduced to Kiln firing, and procedures, as well as stages of clay: Wet, Greenware, Bisqueware, and more. Each student will custom glaze each project, and have all pieces fired in our kiln. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for all sessions OR our school program for discounted rate.

In this hands-on workshop, artists create a finished acrylic painting on a real stretched canvas — choosing their own subject from our inspiration wall of shells, flowers, fruits, and curious objects. Along the way, artists learn how underpaintings give a painting depth, how to mix colors with intention, and how patience and layering transform a flat surface into a piece with real presence. By the end of class, every artist leaves with a ready-to-display painting on canvas — and a real sense of what it feels like to make a painting from start to finish. Advanced Art Open Studio Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM This open studio class is designed for advanced art students who are ready to take creative control. Over several sessions, students will choose their own mediums and develop independent projects with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Whether working in drawing, painting, mixed media, or sculpture, students are encouraged to explore personal themes, experiment with materials, and refine their artistic voice. This is a supportive space for focused, self-directed work and constructive feedback.

CREATING CHARACTERS Join us for a morning of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will create a miniature sculpture inspired by their favorite sanrio character using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! Their sculpture can be turned into a keychain or charm. Your child will come home with a completed work of art.
