Summer Semester (May-August) THERE IS NO CLASS JULY 4. The price is adjusted therefore no make-ups are needed. "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. This class provides classical instruction and skill building in art from a professional degreed artist. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Join us weekly on Sunday's for an hour and a half of creativity! Our teacher will guide you through a step by step on canvas, but if you want to add your own ideas and personality to your painting - we encourage it.

COLOR YOUR WORLD Join us for camp filled with art that is fun, bright, colorful and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will create a critter sculpture using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! Campers will get to paint their creature with a variety of bright colors, making their sculpture beautifully unique. At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Spaces are limited. Save your child's spot by registering today!

AN OCEAN OF ART Come create, paint, and have fun with the Art House! At this camp your child will design a painting of jellyfish swimming in the ocean. Paintings are done with acrylic paint on canvas board and finished with a layer of glow in the dark paint. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Spaces are limited, register today. IN THE ART GARDEN Join us for some creativity and fun! At this camp your child will explore the art of Georgia O'Keefe as they create their own poppy painting done in her style. In this fun and interactive art class, students will dive into three exciting art projects, each one offering a new way to express creativity! Throughout the session, we’ll focus on key art terminology, build essential techniques, and introduce a bit of art history to inspire our work. Whether it’s drawing, painting, or sculpting, students will have a blast experimenting while sharpening their hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and gaining confidence in their mark-making. Each class is a new adventure in creativity while developing their three different projects and unique approaches to each medium. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed.
