Your experienced dog mushing guide will present to you the basics of dog mushing, teach you how to put on a harness, and line up the sled dogs in preparation for take off. Each participant has a full 30 minutes of practicing on the sled runners, learning how to lean into the turns, breaking, and leading your dog team by voice command only. A second 30 minutes you are spending in the sled watching/studying your partner practicing. You will get great insight into the art of dog mushing and have plenty of time to take pictures of this great experience.
