Calling all Number Ninjas-in-training! Are you ready to jump, count, and solve super-fun number challenges? This camp is where every day is a new "mission" to use our amazing math powers and become super-duper Number Ninjas! Each morning, a secret mission awaits! We'll zoom into exciting games like cracking number codes with silly pictures and finding hidden numbers in cool patterns. We'll learn to measure with our steps and hands, finding out how big or small things are. Get ready for fun puzzle challenges that make our brains strong! We'll follow "ninja maps" to find secret treasures and count our way through obstacle courses! All week long, we'll train our math muscles! We'll learn how to think cleverly (that's logic!), how to solve tricky problems, how to measure everything, and how to understand secret number messages. Put on your ninja headbands, team up with your friends, and use the power of STEM to conquer every number challenge!

Each week, our littlest Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway & Me's unique curriculum is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate. In Music 3, children will be able to play musical patterns like clapping, patting, tapping or stomping to a beat. Their movements are coordinated and purposeful as we practice matching lyrics to choreographed movements and explore instrumental and improvisational play.

Please be aware of the date you're registering for. A whole class devoted to playdough? Yes! Children learn so much from playdough, starting with the making of playdough, then adding different scents, and finally, the playing of playdough which strengthens their fine motor skills. Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup: -30 minute (music is 45 minutes) structured class where fine motor skills are practiced -Playtime to encourage social interaction -Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)

In this creative 45 minute class we will enjoy art exploration, music and story time. We will come together for circle time, songs and story time. Then we will create art together while fostering friendships and socialization. It's such a fun class and we all enjoy it so much.

We’ll teach basic fundamentals of a wide variety of sports and then assist and supervise as our campers compete in an organized and safe setting!! The house will be rocking with music playing throughout the day and a level of energy that will only be outdone by the amount of FUN being had!! In Music 2, children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically! Cognitive: Music play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. It creates an early appreciation of music and supports language development. This class is specially designed for babies who are confident sitters and beginning crawlers. We focus on equipment activities designed to develop upper body strength, stability and coordination on a weekly rotation. Parent sharing, parachute time, bubbles and songs add to the fun and learning!

We will be touring all around the Historic French Quarter and 2 historic surrounding neighborhoods of the Marigny and Treme. We will talk about the rich cultures, people and traditions of these neighborhoods that date back to the 1700's. From our beginnings as a Native American trading post to a raughty French penal colony to the rich African culture of music and Mardi Gras revelry, we will cover it all! 300 years of Creole history from a 6th generation New Orleanian! We start at the Mississippi river and take our time strolling through the French Quarter and chronologically move from the Quarter to the Treme and Marigny. Stops such as Jackson square, Congo square, St. Augustine Church and Frenchmen street and on to the French Market. Mid tour we will grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant and continue on to the most historically significant stops in the French quarter and surrounding neighborhoods.
