I had a deep love for music all of my life and when he bought me my first guitar at age 11 I was unstoppable from that moment forward. I received four years of private lessons from a Musician's Institute graduate and knew from there that music was all I ever wanted out of life and dedicated my life to studying the guitar and music to one day be able to be like my heroes out on stage. After high school I lived for a year in the real world, never liked it, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in music from Musician's Institute, which I graduated from in September in 09. As a teacher I believe that the key to learning the Guitar is to start by creating the finger strength to play, beginning with warm up exercises and some simple scale work to really build up your fingers strength as well as dexterity. Once they are in good shape, only takes about a week or two, I can start teaching how to solo and play chords and build a basic knowledge and understanding of the Guitar and how to use it as naturally as you use your own hands!
