Music with Alice is so excited to offer classes this Spring at We Rock the Spectrum led by Miss Alice’s good friend, Miss Laura Grisham! Laura is an incredible folk musician with years of early childhood experience. She is so excited to get to help Miss Alice by teaching these wonderful classes! 💕 Music with Alice, a 30-40 minute family music class, welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together! These special classes will include an hour of gym time at We Rock the Spectrum (built in to the price of each class.) *Siblings under 1 years of age are free! Please just let me know you are bringing them! * **Babies under 1 that come alone MUST register.** ***WRTS gym members can request a code to deduct the cost of the open gym.*** These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Laura teaches everyone finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs, call and response singing and a big jam at the end with shakers and kids instruments.* (*Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments to class) Each class is full of music from the folk tradition that are so simple with lyrics and movements easy enough for both baby, toddler, and adult to learn. Our Indoor Sports Camp program will allow children to get a taste of a variety of sports under the guidance of great coaches - encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and FUN. Each week, our littlest Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway & Me's unique curriculum is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate. Each class incorporates activities that are designed to support your little one’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development.

This class price is ONLY for students taking multiple classes per week. DancePop is an introductory class for dancers ages 6+. This class combines hip hop, and jazz techniques to give students a well rounded foundation to basic jazz and hip hop styles. Dancers will also practice choreography and musicality and learn dance history.

Preschoolers can now experience the magic of Broadway with a class designed specifically for them! Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists who are experts at engaging and educating children in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. Whether your child is ready for the spotlight or simply loves musicals, this class is for them!

What to expect in class: It’s all about opposites: loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ help your child learn better ways to communicate. We move across the bridge sllowwwly and then fast! They'll learn how to control body movements and use their body to navigate and problem solve across monkey bars, giant cushions, and through little tunnels. We’ll also practice repetition and routine with regular parachute and bubble activities. Soon your little one will be leading the Gymbo Dance! Benefits: Physical: Exploration of the different equipment supports problem solving, navigating skills, and confidence. Cognitive: Repetition, songs, and interacting with their familiar adult supports language development, vocabulary, and memory. When school is out, come Flip Out! Join us for an active day of gymnastics, dance, arts & crafts, strength, flexibility, & more! Bring a nutritious snack, packed lunch, & water bottle labelled with your child's name. Dress code: leotard or form fitting clothes that they can easily move around in - no shoes or socks required!

Join Sing with Emily and Tiny Tunemakers for a 45 minute music and movement class! We'll sing, creatively move, play instruments, improvise, use props, dance, enjoy musical story time and most importantly...have fun!! Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Snack time, sensory play, outdoor adventures (weather permitting), and of course, bubble time, round out the daily routine.
