Join us for Seymour's 18th annual Downtown Trick or Treat, hosted by the Seymour Culture & Arts Commission. Children K-5 (& their parents!) are invited to participate in a costume parade followed by trick or treating at participating downtown shops. Stop by the corner of First and Bank Street for maps & goodie bags and don't forget to stop by the studio for crafts and treats.

Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 90 minutes. Ages 7-9. THIS WEEK: We’re experimenting with applications this week as we recreate Monet’s famous water lilies. Students will layer a mixture of watercolor and soap bubbles onto the page by blowing bubbles to create a textured background. Then they will draw and cut floating lily pads to bring their bubble water to life.

Piglets offers our littlest artists their grown-ups the opportunity to create and play together with sensory play, process art (and custom made playdough!). This class works to introduce and build on important skills, such as problem solving and making friends. Please note that this is a participatory class with child and their grown-up (and not a drop-off class).
