This program is designed to provide enjoyable activities that help students ease into their day and prepare for school. At the end of Before Care, younger children will be escorted directly to their classrooms, while older children will walk to their classes independently. Please note, we do not provide breakfast. You are welcome to send a snack or breakfast with your child if needed. *All children must be registered prior to attending.* and must have submitted all required documents to the Director of Before Care. Our Before Care program is licensed under the Office of Children and Family Services, and we must maintain the regulations set by the state.

Kids FAVS DAILY - Week 1 SUMMER CAMP MENU A full week of the food kids love most! Lil' Chefs will cook and bake classics like cookies, mac & cheese, fluffy pancakes, cupcakes, pizza, burritos, sliders, donuts, crispy French fries - and plenty of surprise favorites. Comfort food heaven, made from scratch! (Note: The menu is subject to change based on ingredient availability.) ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or blend, we have a camp for all interests. Our camps are organized into 3 age groups, so all chefs team up with their peers. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook. All recipes will be sent home for later preparation. A child may also pack up any uneaten tastings to share at home. This is a hands-on cooking camp. Unless you purchase a 30-minute Pre-Care pass, you may arrive NO MORE THAN 10 minutes early for check-in, and you MUST stay with your child until the start of camp. Also, unless you purchase an After-Care pass, any guardian who is late picking up their child will be charged $50 for every 10-minute increment upon completion of the camp – unless we are notified of the tardiness in advance. Family Fun PIZZA Night Workshop Join us for Family Fun PIZZA Night Workshop for the whole family! Work together as a family to complete 2-3 recipes and enjoy the food you've made at the end of class. Menu: Pizzas from scratch, French Fries, and Strawberry Shortcake. This class is for the entire family - for Tiny Chefs ages 3-5 / adult family member(s) will be required to be more hands-on. 🎤 Sky Divers: Intro to Debate (Grades 5–8) Beginner Level • No Prior Debate Experience Required Curious about debate but not sure where to start? This beginner-level course is designed specifically for middle school students who want to learn the foundations of debate in a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment. This class is not intended for experienced debaters. Over 6 high-energy weeks, students will explore what debate is, how to build clear and logical arguments, and how to deliver their ideas confidently—all through interactive games, small-group practice, and instructor-guided coaching. Enjoy a well-rounded summer at NoVA PlayLabs and avoid the summer brain drain. Our Summer Camps offer a good mix of fun and academics, learning and chill time, and quiet activities and active play. We will spend time outside playing and eating snacks and lunch. Students will be grouped by grade level and rotate among different stations. We maintain a small 1:8 instructor/student ratio in order to give personalized attention to each student. For ages 5-14. Please pack two snacks, a lunch, and a water bottle (water refilling station is available). NO phones or tablets are allowed. Join us this Spring for an exciting Spanish adventure! This season, Brilliant Bilingual presents our new theme, “Detectives en Acción” (Detectives in Action). Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 4:30pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 4:45pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy - - - Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements.
