What your child’s day will look like
In this fun and interactive art class, students will dive into three exciting art mediums (ceramic, charcoal, acrylic), each one offering a new way to express creativity! Throughout the session, we’ll focus on key art terminology, build essential techniques, and introduce a bit of art history to inspire our work. Whether it’s drawing, painting, or sculpting, students will have a blast experimenting while sharpening their hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and gaining confidence in their mark-making. Each class is a new adventure in creativity while developing their three different projects and unique approaches to each medium. This helps kids keep building on what they learn and explore new ways to create! Students are encouraged to explore their own style while learning the foundations and techniques that will help them grow as young artists. The best part? Every session is designed to help them build confidence and have fun while discovering the exciting world of art! As students work with different materials, they'll enhance their hand-eye coordination, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through art. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. This class structure makes this class perfect for both new students and continuing students as we are able to meet each student where they are at to foster their creativity and encourage growth. *Please do not send your artist to class if they have any cold/flu symptoms (exhibiting, but not limited to cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever (temp of 100.4 +), shortness of breath, vomiting and/or diarrhea, or chills). Students who arrive or become ill at the studio will be sent home as soon as possible and will be isolated until pick-up. *Students are allowed one make-up class per session, please contact info@rebelartschool.com to schedule. A make-up class must be scheduled and completed before the end of the session, make-ups will not be carried into new session. *We require that parents/caretakers remain outside of the studio. Please feel free to accompany your artist to check-in/check-out (and peek your head into see the space), but please be sure to provide distance between other parents/caretakers. We know that many of our younger artists may be a bit anxious at first, and in those circumstances we welcome you to come into the entry way to check in with them, but we do not permit adults other than staff into the actual studio rooms. *If you or your child need to reschedule a class registration due to unforeseen circumstances or scheduling conflicts we are happy to switch to another available class time. If you signed up for a class and need to cancel for any reason we can give you a full refund (minus the transaction fee) if we're able to fill your spot. If the cancellation is more than two weeks before the start date of the camp and we are unable to fill your spot, we can give you a 50% credit for a future class or camp. If the cancellation occurs less than two weeks before the start date of the class and we are unable to fill your spot, we are unable to give a refund.
