Along the way, I have played bass guitar and electric guitar as well. The majority of my playing has been on-stage in the church as a part of worship bands. My musical influences range from bluegrass to rock and nearly anything else in the middle. I teach based upon what the student wants to learn. I will try my hardest to ensure what is being taught is what the student is passionate about. Private Education: 4 years of piano lessons prior to picking up the guitar. 6 months of guitar lessons. Performing Experience: 6.5 years of playing once a week on stage within the context of a worship band. [Bass guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar] Currently the leader of the youth worship band at my church and the lead guitarist for the contemporary service. Experience Teaching: Each week I am in charge of leading the youth worship band which involves a great deal of teaching and working with students to attain the sound we, as a band, are looking for.
