Her official invitations to sing began in high school talent shows, beauty pageants, and awards days. She has a CD on most media outlets entitled Vision of a Songbird. She also sang the National Anthem for the Atlanta Braves. Her method of teaching is informal and her goal is to teach the basic fundamentals regardless of genre. She is very perky and likes to have fun while teaching, so loosen up. Formal Education: Monica was formally trained for numerous years in high school Choir and Concert Choir. Performing Experience: Monica has opened for gospel recording legend Shirley Caesar, and sang the National Anthem for a semi-professional basket ball team Huntsville Flight, minor league baseball team (opening night) the Huntsville Stars, and most recently for the Atlanta Braves. Experience Teaching: She's a singer/songwriter and former independent recording artist who has expanded her gift to teach others basic vocal skills.
