He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music where he studied with Andrew Cooperstock at the University of Colorado. He has also earned degrees in Economics and Physiology and attends medical school at Nova Southeastern University. Tim is especially passionate about teaching students and helping them succeed in learning to play piano with confidence. Tim is especially drawn to classical music and he is dedicated to continue teaching piano throughout his career. Formal Education: Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Colorado. This degree was awarded in May 2013. He has also earned a Bachelor degree in Economics as well as a Masters of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University. Private Education: Tim took private piano lessons in Palatine, IL for 8 years prior to starting his University instruction from Dr. Andrew Cooperstock at the University of Colorado. Performing Experience: Tim was a piano performance major at the University of Colorado at Boulder and performed regularly during studio recitals as well as his own senior recital. Tim was my student for two semester-long classes while he was a music major at CU-Boulder. Tim is smart, diligent, and able to grasp broader concepts while at the same time attendant to details. Music theory is a discipline involved in principles of musical organization and musical grammar. Not many of my students earn a grade of A in my classes, but Tim did for both.
