I am a 26-year-old songwriter, guitar player, and experienced live performer with hundreds of shows under my belt. My favorite part of being a musician is recording albums in my low-key, home studio. I have dozens of original albums that I have recorded and mixed myself. I have had the pleasure of teaching both children and young adults how to play music over the course of my career. Some of my students are now in bands themselves. I strongly believe in the philosophy of “play, not practice.” The most effective way to learn an instrument is to play what you want to play. Music students will be motivated to play often if the instrument is enjoyable. Formal Education: N/A (Temple University Graduate, B.A. in psychology, 3.82 GPA) Private Education: I had 3 years of guitar instruction as a kid. Performing Experience: Hundreds of live shows / small tours with bands playing original material Experience Teaching: Volunteer music instructer at The Westminster Choir College where I taught low income children guitar. Also, I have given occational bass / guitar / drum lessons to young adults in the area.
