Hailing from Belgrade, Serbia, Sladjana has an extensive history of international performance. Sladjana was first seen in the US a 2016 spring member of the International Vocal Arts Institute in NYC. She spent the rest of 2016 as a member of the International Opera Academy in Montecatini Terme, Italy, where she was awarded the 'Al Miglior Interprete Verdiano' for her outstanding soprano voice. From 2, Sladjana was a featured soprano with the National Theatre Opera Studio in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2011, she was a finalist of the Grandi Voci International Singing Competition at the Oper im Berg, in Salzburg, Austria. Sladjana has been featured in master classes with renowned artists such as Sherrill Milnes, Mirella Freni, Eva Marton, Maria Guleghina, Joan Dornemann, Ruth Falcon and Elisabeth Byrne. She has performed main roles at the National Theatre in Belgrade as Marcellina from Mozart Le nozze di Figaro, Girorgetta from Puccini Il Tabarro, Suor Angelica from Suor Angelica, Mimi from La Boheme, Senta from Wagner Flying Dutchman. She has been featured in concerts in Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Germany, Romania, and the US. Sladjana earned her Masters in Vocal Performance from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Serbia, and earned a specialization degree in Vocal Performance from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary in the class of opera star Eva Marton.
