Years of Experience: 20+ Location Options: In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 70 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Acoustic, Christian Age Groups: Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons Overview: I have 40 years of playing guitar in the areas of country, classic rock, jazz, blues, and bossa nova. Of particular interest to me is basic music theory and how to apply it to fun music. I am very interested in how chords come together and how to use the major and blues scales within those chords. Formal Education: BA, Chemistry, Cornell College MS Chemical Engineering, Texas AM University MBA, Finance, University of St. Thomas, Houston Private Education: Currently, I am tutoring in the areas of chemistry, physics, math, economics, finance, and banking. Performing Experience: I have mostly played at church, although I have also performed at shows for colleges, most notably the Northwestern Universitys Teachers Summer Band, and Benedictine University band for the play Canterberry Tales. I also sing at business conference parties sometimes. Experience Teaching: I am a former university professor, and I have taught at the college level at many different colleges in Texas, Illinios, West Virginia, and Louisiana. - mostly in the areas of science, engineering, and business
