Part Time
My 83yo mother lives independently, and has no major physical issues. She's an accomplished gardener, still drives, and does everything she can not to be a burden on me (her only local family). However, she's slowing down in all respects, and the social isolation from COVID has been hard on her. So, I'm looking to start a relationship with a caregiver.
It'd start off with chit-chats, intermittent check-ins, household tasks, go on walks, helping her adjust to the idea of having a caregiver, and helping me understand what she's struggling with but keeps quiet about. If that goes smoothly, and you and her get along well, the role would evolve to include other duties. Our goal is to keep her living independently as long as she's safe and comfortable.
Schedule very flexible. Must have formal training/education related to senior care.
