We need a nanny for about a month this summer for our 2 children (6 and almost 4) in West Arvada. We would love someone who likes to be outdoors and take our kids on local adventures. Our oldest has type 1 diabetes and celiac disease, so we need someone willing to learn how to care for those conditions. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping (just picking up messes made throughout the day), is comfortable with a dog, comfortable with driving (can use our car at times), can handle pickups/drop-offs as needed, and can prepare lunch. A driver for a 27-year-old with mobility issues. Can use his car. Must be able to drive from Arvada to UC Aunschitz twice per week. Also from Arvada to Redrocks CC 3 times per week. Some errands. The schedule may vary, but tends to be in the middle of the day. Punctuality and consistency are absolutely crucial.

The ideal candidate can commit to a schedule that will vary slightly from week to week. It will generally be 4-5 weekdays. The person must be able to fold and lift a 23 lb wheel chair, and accompany our son to the actual offices or classrooms (yet remain outside during appointments. Due to an injury my son uses a wheelchair but is otherwise independent. He is very pleasant.
