Senior Care

I have 20 plus years of experience caring for individuals of all ages. I'm a kind, compassionate caregiver with a personality that does not ruffle easily. Dependable and reliable, you can be assured that your loved one will truly be cared for while you are gone. I am a certified medical assistant and have completed 4 years of nursing school. I have 2 years experience working in hospital, rehab, and extended care. I also have home health care experience. I am proficient, professional, and conscientious with ostemy, drains, and other personal care and hygiene issues. I have worked with Alzheimer's/dementia, diabetes, stroke, post surgery, limited mobility, mobility recovery, MS, thyroid, seizures, open and closed head trauma, and much more. I am willing to transport to and sit in on medical appointments to help with continuity of care. I'm honest and trustworthy, a non-smoker, a good cook, a smiling face, and a friendly spirit. Let's talk about your care needs!

Lisa is wonderful! I hired her from my couch in South Carolina to help with my mother who is house bound. Lisa went above and beyond- nor only did she help make sure her health issues were addressed but she cleaned and helped my mother with doctor's appointments and important issues like her phone not working. Lisa would check in on her when I couldn't get ahold of my mom by phone. I felt much more at ease knowing that someone like Lisa was close by to assist with my mom. She even snapped pics of mom to forward to me so I could actually see how she was doing. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants quality care for someone they love.

I am a mature & Christian woman who is happily married and a proud mom. I have a special place in my heart for seniors. I helped to care for my grandmother when she suffered a major stroke, that included housecleaning, cooking, running errands, and helping with her medications and taking to the doctor. I have also worked privately in-home with seniors with multiple health issues such as heart attack, stroke, mobility (wheel chair, walker), on oxygen, breathing treatments, dementia, Alzheimer's and much more. I have also worked in home private care for 60+ wheel chair bound on oxygen with heart issues and had previous stroke. I took to all appointments, grocery shopping, ran errands, took care of pets, cleaned house, well as cooked and gave all medications and handled bathing and dressing and transfer to wheel chair and bed and car, I have worked with male and female seniors. I love to learn new things and I am very dependable and a hard worker I give my all in whatever task is laid in front of me as well as I am a very positive and outgoing lady and I love caring for people and giving there family/loved one the peace that they don't have to worry about their mother, father, sister, etc. that they are being well cared for and I hope I can be that caregiver who gives you that peace of mind for your loved one. My grandmother, Neno was slipping into dementia faster than we wanted to admit. Her body was betraying her. Parkinson's was winning. We had a hard time understand how to care for her or what to do. Nearly a year ago, Kathi joined our family and taught us how to lift Neno, bind her wounds and exhibited more patience and caring than I knew possible. Between full time jobs and 24/7 care, it all got too hard for us to handle, Kathi stepped in and did simple house chores we didn't have time or strength to do. We trust her implicitly. As one of the newest members of our family, she has a key to our home and remains welcome any time. This part of life is not easy. No matter how prepared you think you are, you are not prepared enough. It's why you invite Kathi H. into your home. Her skills are amazing, she takes care of the one you love and exudes hope at the same time. Hire her, she'll be the best decision you've made in the season.
