Powell Family Daycare

2121 Madrone St., Simi Valley, CA

Costimate: $210/wk

My name is Kitty Sue Powell and I am a mother of five adult children and a grandmother of three. It has been my joy and pleasure to spend my entire adult life raising either my own children or the children of others.

It is my belief that your babies need love, comfort and security while in my care. As they grow into toddlers, your children will learn social skills and structure. Although I am not a teacher, I do strive to teach preschool preparedness including shapes, letters, numbers, colors, blends and sight words. I also read to the children and we do various puzzles and crafts.

I promise to care for your children as if they were my own and keep them safe, busy and happy while you are away.

Please call today for more information or to schedule a visit!

No other daycare compares to Kitty Sue! After I visited every center and every in home care place I could find in Simi Valley, I was dreading returning to work because I didn't trust any of them with my son. All of centers struck me as cold and impersonal and the in home care places just didn't feel right to me. When I met Kitty Sue, it was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. She was so comfortable and loving with the children she was caring for that I was immediately put at ease. She cared for both of my children daily until they attended school and now ten years later they still go every morning before school. Kitty Sue has become like a part of our family and I trust her completely with my children. I have recommended her to several other families over the years and they all have grown to love and trust Kitty Sue like we do. She is the absolute best!
