My daycare is a state licensed and certified by Department of Early Education and Care. The hours are from 7:30 to 5:30 Monday to Friday. The daycare space is in our clean and pet free home right off Washington Street in Franklin. I offer healthy meals which include breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch for your child. We have over an acre of land with some woods for the outdoor space for children to explore and a vegetable garden to plant their own vegetables and watch them grow. Our yard is a natural playground and our home is a warm and secure place for your child to learn and grow. I sincerely enjoy working with children and am dedicated in my job. I can offer your child secure and loving care just as I do to my own and every child I have educated and cared for. I believe in positive reinforcement and that learning should be fun. I make sure children are comfortable with me and encourage them to ask questions so that they will become confident and interested in learning. I provide an age appropriate curriculum based on the children's interests. Curriculum is delivered by integrating language and Literacy, Science, Arts, Social studies and Math activities with children's spontaneous interests. I promote the natural creativity of children by providing materials and opportunities to present their imaginations without limitations. Qualification and Professional Experience BA Early Childhood Studies (Roehampton University, London) CPR and First Aid certified 3 years with toddlers in an international school in Burma 1 years as assistant infant teacher in Children s house, Inc. Springfield. 10 months as Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher at Head Start, Holyoke. 1 years as Preschool Teacher at Bright Horizons at EMC, Hopkinton.
