Come and Play is a safe, and nurturing environment where your child will get the attention he or she needs. Mrs. Katey has been running Come and Play for over twenty plus years. This past January WGBH came to Come and Play Family Child Care and filmedMrs. Katey and her children during their day. It was a honor her children and she will never forget it. Look for the video on WGBH website in the Summer of 2013. Katey Grossman was selected in 2013 to be a role model for MA Department of Early Education Care's Race To The Top Initiative. Your child will be involved in developmentally- appropriate activities throughout the day as well as active emergent curriculum and a daily schedule. Children will enjoy our fenced in back yard. It is filled with water tables, cozy coupes, climbing toys, vegetable garden, and many other seasonal toys and activities. Daily activities include: Story Time Music Puzzles and Games Blocks, Puppets, Dress Up Open ended Art Life Skills Pre-reading and writing Skills Nature - Science and Math "Hands on Learning" Meals, snacks and a variety of nutritious food is provided each day that meet the guidelines of the Provider Food Program.
