Full Time
About who needs care: My Mom has rheumatoid arthritis and is confined to her motorized recliner. She has a potty chair in the living room with her. She likes watching TV and going on her computer. Her ideal day is getting a simple breakfast, changing into her duster (housedress), getting fresh water or ice tea, eating lunch, getting her rug changed (when she has an pee accident) and getting her recliner pad changed (when she has an pee accident). If okay her caregiver can do light laundry, doing dishes, sweep and mop and light dusting. Is it possible for the caregiver to check my dad's blood sugar, poking his finger? He needs help with this.
About the care needs: She would like someone with a happy caring-nurturing nature, has patience, good hygiene: is careful in the kitchen washes hands before serving food, is Christian and Republican, know how to cook (American and/or Mexican food and diabetic diet food (for my Dad)).
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
