About who needs care: I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. I currently use a lift to go to and from bed. I am forced to take bedbaths because my shower is not accessible but I'm actively looking to move. I'm pretty self-sufficient once I'm in my wheelchair.
I'm looking for someone to help with preparing for the day and bedtime prep routine.
I currently use incontinent supplies due to lack of help with toileting. I would like to eliminate the need for them through hiring someone to help in place of the products
About the care needs: Please be energetic, thoughtful, and detailed oriented. I also need someone who is dependable and consistent.
Knowledge of how to use a sliding board effectively is a major plus.
I like to travel. If a caregiver decides to be my aid when traveling there cost of trip will be paid for by me. Availability and willing to travel would be great. I also enjoy concerts. So if the aid is willing to attend with me, her ticket will be purchased by me.
