Wonder Steps Preschool

Wonder Steps Preschool is a licensed quality childcare and learning center located in San Jose that offers Infant-Toddler and Preschool/Pre-K programs. Our teachers are fully qualified, experienced, first aid and CPR certified who provide nurturing, stimulating, developmentally appropriate curriculum based on weekly themes. Our Infant-toddler program is play-based which is child-directed and teacher supported. Our Preschool/Pre-K program is STEAM-based. The STEAM-based curriculum is all about hands-on activities which use Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Our mission is to provide a safe, clean, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all children that focus on every aspect of a child’s growth. Our unique curriculum includes a variety of educational theories and hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) based activities, while always keeping the child’s interest in mind.

At Wonder Steps Preschool, we believe that all children are special and each has his/her own personality, strengths, needs, and learning styles. We respect children for their unique and individual qualities while establishing and maintaining fun learning experiences.

We believe that children learn best when they are given opportunities to participate in the activities of their interest. The process of doing an activity is an important key for children to develop cognitive, creative, social-emotional, language, and physical skills.
