At Traditions Children’s Center, we offer comprehensive childcare including infant care, a full preschool programs, before and after school care, and summer programs. Our centers value teamwork, kindness, empowerment, gratitude, and accountability,striving to set your children up for success. Our centers, located in Clive, Johnston, Urbandale, Waukee, and West Des Moines, offer before and after school care and transportation to more than 30 schools. Classes go on a variety of field trips to familiarize children with physical activities such as bowling, mini-golfing and gymnastics, as well as trips to pumpkin patches, parks, the movies, and the Science Center of Iowa. We work with Raccoon River Park and Polk County Conservation to provide education on the local environment. Each center features park-like playgrounds, with plenty of room for children to explore the outside world. During the summer, Traditions hosts outdoor days, where students may enjoy outdoor activities like splash pads, ice cream trucks, and Soccer Shots.
