About
The Groton Early Childhood Development Center is a NAEYC accredited program serving children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our high quality program offers parents full time child care on a sliding scale basis. Our teaching staff is highly qualified with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of Early Childhood Education. We accept children from New London, Groton and surrounding towns. Our pre-school program is funded by the State Department of Education School Readiness Grant and our infant toddler program is funded by the State Department of Education Child Day Care Grant. We are operated by Child and Family Agency which offers comprehensive services to our families including enrollment in our School Based Health Centers, Family Resource Centers and Child Guidance Clinics if needed. This comprehensive approach allows families to receive health care, resources and referrals for food, clothing, shelter and mental health services all in one place.
