I am a 50-something, experienced mom looking to keep children in my home. I am a former audiologist and have developed and run many programs around youth and families through the years. I have years of experience in the medical field as well as withschool systems and community agencies. I've had many foster kids and adopted one, who is now 10 years old and flourishing. I am very flexible with scheduling. One reason I am looking to stay home is that reliable childcare for school holidays is sometimes a challenge (so I understand the need for flexibility firsthand). We have a great, safe yard for playing and are within walking distance of a great park. We are also on the city bus line and have many opportunities for fun and stimulation here in town. I am a homeschooling mom at heart - I find opportunities for learning at every turn. Believe it or not, I love older kids and teens as well as infants and toddlers.
