The Children's Cottage

My program provide from birth to 5 years old. I believe my job as a family child care provider is to support the role of families in children's lives. I strive to enhance the physical, cognitive and emotional growth of each and every child in my carethrough a wide variety of activities. The learning activities and environment that I offer are planed around California early learning standards to make sure children are prepared to start Kindergarten. I offer a balance of activities to develop the whole child and always keep in mind that young children learn best through play in nurturing, loving environment. Preschool program A quality preschool education is critical for later success in school. I provide a complete, developmentally appropriate preschool program in my day care at no additional cost to you. Children are taught all the skills they will need to start Kindergarten successfully. These include but not limited to; pro-social skills ( cooperation,getting along with others, sharing, recognizing the feelings of others, etc. ), small motor skills, large motor skills, early literacy skills, and early math skills.
